About us: Meikleholmside Farm lies on the slopes of the Annan Water valley near Moffat, . looking onto Hartfell - the highest hill in Dumfriesshire. All our sheep are born and bred on our farm, and graze on permanent pastures on open hill land and upland meadows. Our sheep mature at their own pace and live as stress-free life as possible. We use a small local abattoir which is only minutes from the farm minimising stress. The result is a sweet and flavoursome meat - always tender. Our customers often comment that they can taste the herbs and hill grasses in it! Everything we produce is sold directly to the public or to local chefs

About us: Hebridean Mutton is an informal co-operative of Outer Hebridean crofters. Our well adapted Hebridean Blackface wethers graze on the hills and the small islands off the shores of Lewis and Harris. They mature at their own pace never having eaten anything but their mothers' milk and the herbs and heathers on which they graze.
Apart from an annual shearing they are allowed an ubothered natural life until we gather them at the end of the summer of their third year.
They take a short journey to be slaughtered at our small, top quality local abattoir.
Every September, after hanging, cutting and vacuum packing we deliver chilled throughout mainland UK.

About us: Boreray mutton from the Orkney Boreray flocks of sheep. Orkney Boreray is the term used to refer to the Boreray sheep in Orkney that are the unique ‘lost flock’ of the UK's rarest breed of sheep. The sheep graze permanent pastures with a vast range of plants, bogs and moorland & enjoy browsing on trees and bushes.
